Spring/Summer '24 Travel Basketball

TRYOUT DATES & FEES:

Fee: $20 per player

Tryout Date:

Friday, February 16th at Big Timber School 1400 S. Ridgecrest Dr., Hampshire
3rd/4th - 6pm
5th-8th 7pm
High School 8pm

Practices:

All teams will practice on Monday and Wednesday OR Tuesday and Thursday. Fridays are reserved as a training date for teams - in total there will be 16 Friday trainings, which are will cover skill set training. Once you accept your position on the team, you will be given the opportunity to choose from one hour sessions at 5, 6 or 7pm. -- the times for your Friday training session are first come, first serve.

Regular Weekly Practice Times are announced the week before the start of the season.

Practices begin the week of March 4, 2024.

Practice Dates:

Twice per week beginning 3/4/2024 -- 35 practices in total for 5th - High School Teams
3rd & 4th Grade - 1 hour practice 2x per week beginning the week of 3/4/2024 for a total 22 practices.
5th - 8th Grade - 90 minute practices 2x per week
5th - High School teams will have a 2 week break from May 27, 2024 - June 9, 2024
5th - High School teams will have one practice the week of July 1st - either Monday or Tuesday

Practice Locations:

District 300 school, Centre of Elgin, Judson or Prairie Stone. (Locations will be given in advance of the season.)

Tournaments:

All teams will participate in Saturday tournaments in the Chicagoland area which consist of 2-3 games. Typically, games are played in Aurora, Lisle, Schaumburg, Barrington, Romeoville or Libertyville.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Teams will not know until the week of which venue the event will be at as locations and times are never available from tournament organizers until the Thursday before each tournament.)

Uniforms:

Cost: $180 (The current uniform will be used through February 2025)

Not included in the season cost.

Full uniform package includes home & away uniform, practice jersey, shooting shirt, backpack, 2 pairs socks

Uniform orders will be due by Sunday, FEBRUARY 18, 2024 at 11:59pm.

Uniforms can be purchased through our Square Store. All players are required to have a practice jersey as well as a full uniform.

ORDERS NOT RECEIVED BY THE DEADLINE ARE SUBJECT TO A LATE FEE.

Team Acceptance & Commitment:

Players will be notified by the Tuesday following tryout by 5:00pm regarding their position. Players must log on to their account and accept or reject the position and complete payment or payment plan by FEBRUARY 16, 2024. Spots are not guaranteed after that date.

*Not all players will make a team - a class recommendation may be made in place of team placement

Season Fees:

Players will have the option to pay in full or set up a payment plan at the time of team registration.

Discounts & Fees:

*Early Registration Discount - must complete team registration within 24 hours of receiving the acceptance.

*Returning Player Discount - applies to Fall OR Winter 2023 Participants

*Multiple Player Discount - applies to additional siblings registering for the season
